Distorted Thoughts

My body hurts

My brain is tired

Yet I'm on high alert

I feel hard-wired

I'm up with the sun

Just trying to survive

But when the days done

I take a deep dive

I wish for a ray of sun 

To pull me from my own misfortune

But it has already begun
