The end

Written for a contest, "What will your last words be?"

Oh, what will those final words be?

Filled with sorrow and grief?

Or optimistic and joyful?

I know they'll show where my loyalties lie

Because when I'm about to die

I will be thanking those that kept me up

When times were oh so rough

I will wish them luck on the rest of their passage

Hoping I won't cause too much damage

Because in the end

I can always depend

On my friends

That's what friends should be, someone we can count on anytime! But all too often, we have those friends who aren't good for us, who turn out to be worse than an enemy.
