It's about a friend of mine whom I lost but never really did lose

She was that person you couldn’t get enough of once you had her. She was amazing in every way and once you really got to know her you understood why she was placed on such a high pedestal of the lives of those who cherished her. Maybe my realization came too late of who she was, but I’m glad it came sooner rather than later. She was truly a complicated yet such a simple person. She was different, she’s a breath of fresh air even if she was nowhere close to being the type of person you associated with. She’s not meant to be tied down to people. She’s a free spirit but when she passes through your life you can’t help but to want to hold onto her. When she decides to up and leave there’s nothing you can do about it but appreciate the moments you had with her. She’s the memory you look back on and long for, yet deep down inside you know you were lucky enough to be graced by her presence. She’s everything you want to be. Yet you don’t want to be like her because she was meant to be her and you were meant to realize the phenomenon she is. She will always be a mystery no matter how much time you’ve spent with her and claim to understand her. Because with her you never really know. When she departs from your life, she’ll be kind enough to give you the closure that you need.
