Just To Be Willing To Die AgainA Poem by Half-alive astronautWe, who are buried in our beds carry the weight of life on our shoulders We are waiting for unknown powers to turn the world upside down and make us artists.
We, who died from the thirst of life, now lay paralyzed in a blinding darkness We are waiting for the sun to shine through the Venetian blind and cause a dancing shadow on the concrete wall.
We watched the night turn to sunny morning We watched how it didn’t last for long We watched the emptiness engulfing everything and now, all we have is a neverending night. We, are the ones who wake up from death just to be willing to die again. © 2017 Half-alive astronaut |
