The Unappreciated Beauty

The Unappreciated Beauty

A Poem by Zutaki
"

Written for a friend who thought herself so unloved

"

You think you’re ignored

You think you’re abhorred

You try to live

Unlike those other w****s

Who sell themselves cheap

While you lie down and weep

You simply wish to feel

One moment of not being a third wheel

You are beautiful though, cant you see?

How amazing you are, mon amie?

You bring light to the darkness

Happy to the sadness

You simply are what no one else could be

Someone who means so much to me

For a better friend, I simply could not ask

To help me through these menial tasks

I hope this makes you realize how great you are

And that you don’t need to be hit by a car

You are an amazing person Maya

No matter what others say

And I am not the only one who feels this way

You are loved, you are cared for

And it’s a feeling will never be worn

Never worn, never torn, and I swear it’s true

I will forever and always, be here for you
