This poem is about remembering our loved ones.

your a part of my entity

here for eternity

a specter of hope

shining in an otherwise

dismal dawn

a flash in the dark

guiding me on

 

whenever the darkness

 overbears and consumes me

still i fight on

cause you are with me

keeping me on the straight and narrow road

 

what will happen in the end i do not know

we are children of the earth

 and back to the earth we must go

whether there is the heavenly plain or anonymity of death

i will have the strength to survive for you are in my every breath.

I like the rhythm and flow to this piece. Great rhymes! Hello again! After reading this piece a second time, I feel the need to say a few more words. I still stick by my first comment, but in addition, I want to tell you that I love the subject matter of this poem, expressing what someone means to you in your life and the positive ways he or she affects you. Your word choices are outstanding and the last stanza is my favorite. Also, this poem is going in my favorite list.
