Deep inside my radiant selfA Poem by zubia
Deep inside my radiant self,
lies a winged being ready to fly. To tear me apart and howl loud, To break the silence and jump up high. High up where there's no pain, and no bars to hold, to restrain the monster dwelling in this soul; Struggling to live or to die. Somewhere inside this shallow smile, lives a deep frown ready to perish, to lose itself to the warmth of love; Love which destroys what lies inside. Silent from ages, craving to escape, It bites each part of my soul. It leaves me aching, yearning for help, Deep inside my radiant self! © 2017 zubiaFeatured Review
