Forbidden Mantra

Forbidden Mantra

A Poem by Zorrin86

Near a black well teeming
With women screaming,
Stones are unearthed and hurled
At the waning moon.

Where gods are haunted
In a land undaunted,
What human sacrifices remain
Are hurled at tombs.

A tyrant drinking
In a bed that's sinking
On soil cursed by ancient Hyksos Kings
Unhinged in their blasphemy.

In ponderous raving,
A mad man craving
The daughter of a wine maker,
Prostituting herself on the steps of an Academy
.
