A Bit Scared

A Bit Scared

A Poem by ASandyRabbit

How can I be so vain
Yet live in such fear?
You’d think I’d have confidence
Knowing I look fine

It’s a task to overcome,
Isn’t it?
I’ve gotta accept I’m fine
Just this way

It’s nerve wracking
Probably ‘cause we’re in
The Bible Belt
But I think I’m fine.

Still, it’s scary!
I don’t wanna get beat up
Especially after…
You know. Political stuff.
