Invisible StormA Poem by Alexa TaschAnger is an invisible stormThe quiet hills felt the breeze That slew the birds and killed the trees The people continued as they pleased Ignorant as they danger increased
And over the horizon came the invisible storm Of thunder clouds that took the form Of sunny skies bright and warm No one saw the invisible storm
Thunder didn't sound in the sky Lightning didn't blink an eye God watched as the storm passed by And let all the guilty people die
Acid rain came pelting down Drowning everyone in the town The wind shattered the golden crown Until the rivers ran red and brown
The royals gone without complaint With death of every sinner, every saint The invisible storm grew more faint And left the town desolate and quaint © 2013 Alexa TaschAuthor's Note
