True HappinessA Poem by Perfect MistakeIt's a community, our family We spend the cold hours in the shadows of the alleyway Food wafting in the air from the experience restaurants down the road Happy people with bulging wallets stride past They aren't happy - its just a label The happy people aren't looking at us in stables They seem to be only intersted in the chaos of the graffitied walls It reminds them of their own nostalgic resoning, but then They take a break from the chaos of the walls And have a $5.50 skinny latte with soy And a healthy, wholesome $8.00 bagel And they briefly wonder about the kids in the allway But they forget as they bit into their $8.00 bagel- Unseen and happy in our community of chaos. © 2012 Perfect MistakeReviews
