My nutty nan

My nutty nan

A Poem by Zoelouise

My nutty nan could make you smile
She would find things funny that you would vile,

She could smoke a million cigarettes
And sometimes you'd think she had Tourette's.

She made a work of art with a splash of paint,
She never cared who knew, she was no saint;

She would stick her nose up at a snob
And her high spirit you could never rob.

Her temper could be very hot,
But I know she loved us all a lot.

She had her nutty ways I know,
But that's what made us love her so.

In loving memory of Patricia Lazenby
