The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by Zoe LYC

The wind,
Blown.
Brought love,
Then take it away.

The wind,
Terrifying.
Turned in to stom,
And howl.

The wind,
Unknow.
Seems to be real,
Likely to be true.

And they call the wind Mariah . . . Sorry, just had to do that . . . You have managed to give us, in the simplest way, life as lived by millions. Give and take is the balance for we the ones who mush bear the brunt of the fierce wind of despair.
