Lonely Star

Have you ever seen a lonely star?

A star all on its own?

A star that seems way too far,

Too far away from home?

I've seen a lonely star,

A star all on its own.

A star that seemed way too far,

Too far away from home.

When I saw that lonely star,

I made a hopeful wish

I wished the star would find a friend

And a happy home,

I wished that it could fly across the galaxies,

So it wouldn't be all alone.

I never saw a lonely star again,

I hope my wish came true,

I hope the star has found a friend,

A good friend just like you!
