The Backstage Crush - Chapter 5

Plot: About a band called Fall Out Boy and a fan called Zoe Williams. Pete Wentz develops a crush on Zoe after seeing her in block 2 at his sold out 'Save Rock and Roll tour'.

Chapter 5 - Birthday.

Zoe's P.O.V:

Three months had passed since I saw Fall Out Boy. I was devastated that they weren't coming to the UK again yet. My birthday was in 10 days. I went on to Twitter and I went to Pete Wentz account because he had followed me and he was online "Will you be in the UK for my birthday on the 22nd June?". I sat there and browsed Facebook whilst I was waiting. I then heard a bling on my phone, that means I've got a notification so I opened my email account up on my phone and Pete Wentz had replied to me!! I smiled so much and opened up Twitter to read the reply: Yes we will, honey. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Best fan ever. xxx Oh my gosh, I died. He sent me kisses, he doesn't normally send them! And 'honey'?! Oh my gosh! I went back to Twitter and replied "Thank you, Pete. You're extremely amazing. :-) xxx". He had retweeted the tweet and favourited it in minutes. 

Days passed and I received a letter in the post. The letter read: Dear, Zoe. It's your birthday soon and I'd love to wish you a very happy birthday. Unfortunately we do not know if we'll be able to come to the UK for your birthday like we had promised but we decided we'd send you a Happy Birthday note from us in consideration. We would like to give you this gift for your birthday, enjoy it. ;) - Pete and the boys from Fall Out Boy xxx I took the gift out, it was a necklace. A real gold heart necklace. I really liked it, they'd spent so much on me. Why is it always Pete that sends me notes or Twitter messages though? Seems weird why he's the only one that bothers.

It was the day of my birthday, I had opened gifts. It was all Disney stuff. Teddies, dolls etc. I was in love. Best birthday ever and I was wearing that beautiful gold necklace they had got me. All of a sudden the doorbell rang, my mom looked out the window and saw a black car parked up outside the house. She was so confused, she walked out to open the door and all I heard was my mom say 'why are you here?' I wanted to know who this person was so I walked out and there he was. I saw Pete Wentz standing before me. "I thought you said you didn't think you could make it?", I asked him. "I said that so I could surprise you.", he replied smiling. I smiled. "So, how old are you today?", Pete said with a wink. "I'm 18 years old today.", I answered giggling. My mom smiled and all Pete did was let his face drop, no happiness just straight faced. What did I do wrong?
