"Crashed"

"Crashed"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“Crashed”

I can’t see all of these lies,

With pieces of glass stuck in my eyes.

The flash of the headlights blind me,

Not only can I not see,

But everyone is judging my vision,

Which has led me to this collision.

It’s worse than cross town traffic,

Oh, it’s much too graphic!

Red, yellow… GO!

I don’t want to put on this show.

Oh, not anymore,

Or else I’ll crash right into a grocery store.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
