"The Survival Parade"

"The Survival Parade"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“The Survival Parade”

Look alive,

Look alive.

Watch out take a dive,

We must strive.

The velocity of life is too much for us to handle,

This super nova started from a candle.

We’re living in the danger days,

We’ll take any job as long as it pays.

Our hearts aren’t ready for demolition,

But no one takes that into consideration.

It’s their turn,

We’ll fill them with gasoline and let them burn.

We’ll rise up from the underground,

And tell everyone what we found.

The traffic will go chaotic,

Everyone will be following us ‘cause we’re hypnotic.

We’ll be blowing everything up,

And telling everyone what’s up.
