"If"

"If"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“If”

If you can’t handle The Fame,

Don’t call my name.

If you can’t handle the changing skies,

Don’t say that you’re my guy.

If you won’t let me pose,

Don’t give me a rose.

If you won’t be ‘just a friend’,

Don’t come here to pretend.

If you are going to give me memories of strife,

Don’t try to be a part of my life.

If you can’t give me my brain,

Don’t try to win me back again.

If you really love me,

Then you’ll go back to your Ferrari.

I’ll be floating away in my plastic bubble,

And onto my future without any trouble.
