"Deadly Migraines"

"Deadly Migraines"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“Deadly Migraines”

Violence and gin,

It’s an original sin.

A little cheese and wine,

It’s not always divine.

Especially when the mind is still growing,

And when the green grass needs mowing.

I get so many migraines,

I feel so dizzy that I might just faint.

Or I might throw up first,

It’s like a curse.

It’s so deadly,

Can’t anyone stop this painful medley?

If not,

My stomach will tie into a knot.

Then I’ll fall to the ground,

Where care is never to be found.
