"One Sequin At A Time"

"One Sequin At A Time"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"One Sequin At A Time"

I'm sitting on top of Manhattan,
Under the sun, swimming in the fountain.
I'm lying on top of Gotham,
Under the stars, listening to the glitter n' glam.
Go ahead and try to ring the alarm,
But you can't escape my glamorous charm.

I'm taking on the world one sequin at a time,
Buying fancy clothes and champagne; it's worth every dime!

I'm a retro dance freak,
My future will never look meek,
For it will be filled with love,
And I'll be with my turtle dove.
If I'm not, then I'll marry the day,
I'll marry the night, in the middle of May.

I'm taking on the world one sequin at a time,
Buying fancy clothes and champagne; it's worth every dime!

C'mon! Come with me!
We'll have so much fun!
Wait honey,
I'm not done-
Yet!

Fashion,
Technology,
Pop,
Glitter,
Glam,
Leather,
Lace,
Let's all embrace!

I'm taking on the world one sequin at a time,
Buying fancy clothes and champagne; it's worth every dime!
