"Animalistic"

"Animalistic"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Animalistic"

Glitter is on the floor,
Just open up the door!
Let us show our teeth,
Let our true selves breathe!
Let the colors fly,
In the deadly night sky!
Let all the creatures frolic,
Or else their fermentation will turn alcoholic!
Their circulation must be natural,
Or else it will turn chemical.
I am one of them,
I know what you may or may not condemn.
You may not keep us in a dome,
And then take away our freedom.
You must let us out,
Or else our hearts will fill up with doubt.
We will turn into something pathetic,
But it can't be because we are animalistic.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
