"Dancing in the Dark"

"Dancing in the Dark"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Dancing in the Dark"

Black lights,
Blanket the moonlit nights.
I watched all the fights,
And earned all my rights.

I just love dancing,
No, I'm not prancing.
Don't fence me in,
I haven't committed any sin.

Just let me dance in the dark,
Don't crush my heart.
Let me dance in the park,
Don't start...

I already earned my rights,
To dance with the metallic knights.
I already earned my rights,
To dance in the dark during the moonlit nights.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
