"Love Ghosts"

"Love Ghosts"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Love Ghosts"

I walk on by,
With my head held up high,
Not saying "hi".
It was all a lie.

I walk by you,
I hope you get the clue.
I don't know what else to do,
But you still make me love you.

Thank god she isn't here,
I wouldn't put up with it, dear.
She'd be forcing me to stab myself with a spear.
That's my biggest fear.

I'm sure you still love her.
It's not something that I'd prefer.
But, I have to leave it as it were,
Without me disturbing the atmosphere.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
