"Scars"

"Scars"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Scars"

Blood drips out of my veins,
And onto the carpet with the rest of the stains.
I hear bones crack,
While the fire turns pure black.

The past left scars,
As I saw you from a far.
I wish I had a different face,
I feel so out of place.

Why can't I just be me,
And let it be?
The scars you left will never go away,
Not ever, not on any day.

About
I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
