![]() "Greedy Grave"A Poem by Zoe Anne"Greedy Grave"
O greedy, greedy grave! What is it that you crave? Is it the blood? Be careful that you don't drown in a flood! Is it the souls? I hope they don't have to pay a toll! Is it the bones? The ones that don't rest in peace will moan. Are you so envious, That you must condemn us? As my legs crumble, I unwillingly stumble. I just sit there, In front of the tombstone and stare. Teardrops dissolve into the deathly earth, And my eyes burn into ashes on top of the hellish hearth. Written by Zoe Anne © 2010 Zoe Anne |
