"Star-Crossed Love"

"Star-Crossed Love"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Star-Crossed Love"

I was star-struck,
And love struck.
But then the plastic bubbles popped,
And my pop heart stopped.
I ripped my eyes out,
I'm so full of doubt.
I tore off my face,
So love wouldn't leave a trace.
The stars in my tears,
Dissolved into the blood of my fears.
Our love was star-crossed,
And my poor soul is lost.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
