"Buried Alive"

"Buried Alive"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Buried Alive"

While you sleep under the luminescence,
I awake in darkness.
While you are breathing,
I am dying.
While you smell fresh red roses,
I smell rotting corpses.

While I was still developing,
You were scheming.
While I was innocent,
You were forcing me to be bent.

While I was trying to save,
You were digging me a grave.
While I heard you say it was my fault,
You locked me in a vault.

While you enjoy a sunny day,
I think of how much you will pay.
While you dream,
I scheme.

It's a bit sad about the comparasions. You describe the things I kind of feel when someone I know and love has found death when I'm still growing in my younger years. It's very beautiful in it's own kind off way. But it's still wonderful!
