Elements of LoveA Poem by Zman135Fire, Water, Earth and Wind
Fighting for my eternal love But the question to me, is who’ll win When each one has a frame unlike it’s kin. Fire with his strong body, Water with her bright smile, Earth with her continuous embrace, Wind with his wild eyes, All leaving me with nothing but surprise. Wind, Fire, Water and Earth Expecting me to make a choice How am I to measure their worth When each had a different personality at birth Wind with the spirit of a raging gale Fire with the passion of a million suns Water with a mind more vast than a sea Earth with a heart big as a field All making me unable to give any yield Earth, Wind, Fire and Water Begging me for a try Why should I even attempt to bother When each one acts as my spotter Earth always there to give me strength Wind always there to cheer me up Fire always there to spike my senses Water always there to support my choices All making me analyze their voices. Water, Earth, Wind and Fire All pleading for my life Which one am I to admire If each one fills me with a special desire Water making me want to feel Earth making me want to love Wind making me want to have fun Fire making me want to mess around In the end... they’ll always keep me dumbfound. © 2010 Zman135Author's Note
