Dreams Too Hollow

Dreams Too Hollow

A Poem by zachary<
"

our dreams defy time.

"

Your dreams are hollow.

And too hard to swallow.

Or so it seemed.

That night when we dreamed,

We saw past our eyes.

Past the the chard streets and grey skies.

Where no other dreams lie..

But our own.

From the past that we’ve sown.

Over time. Time,

might have been the worst invention.

Putting minutes on life.

Putting limits,

of memories.

Time is always lost. Yet never is found…

But in our heads

 It forces a maze.

By Putting hours on our days.

still time must give way to our dreams.

Or so it seems…

that we live beyond notions of the seconds that pass

and the minutes that last

…a lifetime.
