Don't let go

Don't let go

A Poem by Shubham Singh

The fog that had crippled me, you made it cease...,
The tough walk that i had set out for, felt enchanting like a breeze..
Silver lining ,yes you were mine,
elevated me to a new horizon, made even the gloomy days shine...

I might have used my words for all the wrong reasons,
and some hopefully good..,
But today let me admit that my caprice drove me to you every time i needed to forget all the hate and treason...

Forebode i am a little that my demons outnumbered the angels you sent out to save me,
i promise to come out of this hades, resurrected , just hold on to me for some more, please...

Objectivism, i could never comprehend and i thank god for that..,
for it facilitated the contingency of ushering this love with you and that too in it's rarest state.....

Now, the fog seems to have gathered again, my legs, they feel numb...,
My sliver lining died when you walked away, my heart cries out for you my lady...,
please , come back soon....
