Fly of a Butterfly

Fly of a Butterfly

A Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

A butterfly flies in the regions known and unknown,

Planning to meet the worlds yet to be known,

It is eternally blessed with the gift of love for the flowers,

For them it more than its life cares.

The dazzling colours of the butterfly and the flowers,

Giving birth to a scene so rare and marvellous,

Though its eventual target is the nectar,

Doesn’t mind flying near and far.

I am not Conrad's Stein, I hope others will never stop your flying,

Or else many of the lovers will surely start crying.
