Never Leave Me

Never Leave Me

A Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

Don’t you ever leave me I beseech,

I just want you nothing else,

You are for me what,

The ocean waves are, for the beach.

My love for you is like oxygen,

You don’t seem to feel its presence,

But it’s there taking care of you,

As the paper’s love is for the pen.

Willy’s Linda is nothing compared to you,

I am the leaf that doesn’t feel like losing my dew.
