Love with a touch of Sufism in it

My love for you is Sufiyana,

The way the spirit is for the Sufis,

Purity is what I search for,

The source is you, my nirvana.  

Much have I dedicated myself to get your love,

To enter your lovedom,

The moment I think you are mine,

The very next moment you turn into a distant dove.

 

Tell me- how many starry nights will I have to pass alone?

How many Tagore’s poems can stop my inner cyclone?

I didn't understand some of it, like the meaning "Sufis/Tagore" in this context, but I liked it.

I have tried to correlate between the way the sufis search for the Almighty through their true hearts and that of the lover in the poem who believes that his love is pure and spiritual like the sufis have in them for God. Besides, the Tagore-context is connected with the reading of the romantic poems of Rabindranath Tagore by the very speaker in the poem to remove his loneliness and lessen his grief.
