The Day when the Sky Cried Much

The Day when the Sky Cried Much

A Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque
"

Excessive Rain

"

The sky was so dark and sad,

Something caused it pain, something bad,

However it did not tolerate silently,

Rather protested by shouting loudly.

The sky cried on and on,

As if it were totally alone,

Alas! No one was there to wipe away the tears,

Even the earth mocked the sky and its prayers.

But the sky started smiling soon,

After all its sadness and fears were gone.

Well the frivolous first which I dislike doing but at least it shows you that out of interest I am paying attention line 3 However, it did not tolerate silently, Line 10 After all, its sadness and fears were gone.
And as a question : Line 2 : Pain cause something bad, Is that what you mean?

Alright after that wondering the idiom of "heavens shall weep" which I think goes back to the gospel of Luke as a result of our actions down below. Hence the heavens a reflection of humanity. In yours however a more lighter relation and the sadness comes as easy as it goes.

Cute

Thankyou

Isn't this a sweet little tribute to the rain... tender emotion, gentle flow, and pleasant imagery.. very nice... :)
