Allegory Of ZhavyA Poem by ZhavyA Modern Day Plato Contemplating Life As A SlaveIts here I find myself Just another man in the cave Blinded by darkness And frightened by light Threatened by destiny To never use my god given gift of sight Living in ignorance With no sense of wrong or right Constantly under the shroud of night Is the only thing true of my life Talk of day is only here say As no one’s ever seen another way Who is to blame? In a place man lacks an identity even a name? Who’s responsible for the shame? Of calling a once wild beast docile and tame?
