The cold seepes through your winter jacket

The cold seepes through your winter jacket

A Poem by Mary

The cold seeps through your winter jacket
Your hair is wind blown.

Your eyes wide open.

He stands off in the distance.

You are desperate for the warmth he offers.

But he is no longer yours.

Desire takes no heed to what is right.

While, morals offer no satisfaction

no escape from the cold

no warmth of his fingertips.

Desire soon outweighs all self control.

You shiver and stare

He is everything you want. Wrong and Right does not exist tonight.
