The cold seepes through your winter jacketA Poem by MaryThe cold seeps through your winter jacket Your eyes wide open. He stands off in the distance. You are desperate for the warmth he offers. But he is no longer yours. Desire takes no heed to what is right. While, morals offer no satisfaction no escape from the cold no warmth of his fingertips. Desire soon outweighs all self control. You shiver and stare He is everything you want. Wrong and Right does not exist tonight. © 2008 Mary |
