EpilogueA Chapter by Keevan~Three Months Later~
After moving in my new couch, I sat down and wished I wouldn't have to get up and go get a glass of water. It was very hard work getting that couch in by myself. I sighed and got up, forgetting about the water and going to sit outside on the porch. I had a nice small house. Two bedrooms, two bathroom, two floors. The 2nd floor being just a hallway with two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was also by a river. It was a pretty house, to me, anyway. "I feel like a fricken' housewife!" I said out loud to myself. I was already tired of living alone. It was...well, lonely. "Maybe I should get a dog," I said to myself. "One that looks like Dieter. Maybe I should name him Dieter, too." If it wasn't already obvious, I missed Dieter. I missed Gracia. I missed Alfons, who had died shortly after I did in Munich. "It couldn't be helped," I kept telling myself. "It was the way things worked." I sighed and dropped my head. "I'm going mad, talking to myself." So, I stood up and began the walk to the Rockbell's. ____________________________________________________________________________
The sun was high in the sky. It was a beautiful day. Birds were chirping, and people were out and about. "Afternoon," a few people said to me. I returned the greeting with a smile and kept walking. Like I said. Housewife. ____________________________________________________________________________
As I approached the Rockbell house, Alphonse was out in the yard playing with Den, their dog. "Hey, Al," I said. "Hi, Lucy!" he shouted happily. Winry was sitting on the porch steps, and she got up and waved when she saw me. We're friends now. She doesn't hate me anymore. We went inside, and intruded on Pinako yelling at Edward to move out and get a job or something. WInry and I started laughing. "It's not funny!" Edward yelled. "I don't have any money, I can't move out." "Such a bum," I mumbled, crossing my arms. "Hey!" "Well, it's true." "Shut up, you're just as annoying as before!" "That's the first time you've said I was annoying," I pointed out. "Good job, there, Fullmetal!" "Quit calling me that, that's not my alias anymore, Stealth. Or do you prefer Pain!?" "Don't go there, Ed," I said menacingly. "Just don't go there...!" Winry started laughing. "It appears you two get along fine," Pinako said. "Lucy, please do us a favor, and take him in!" "What!?" Ed and I shouted in unison. "I don't want Edward living with me!" I shouted, feeling my face get red. "I don't want to live with Lucy!" Edward shouted, his face getting red as well. "S-So!?" "It actually would be nice to sleep in a bed every night for a change," Edward said, considering. I sighed, and said, "Fine, Ed, you can live with me. But you have to pay rent!" "Jerk." "Freeloader." "Homunculus!" "What did I say!?" I shouted, punching him in the back of the head. ____________________________________________________________________________
