A 21 year old man named Jack was alone since the age of 18 , He became anti-Social and depressed but one day he meets a girl and his life is chanced but for better or worse?

CHAPTER ONE:                                                The Stanger                                                              

 

I lay there in my bed feeling like crap my neck is bleeding and my heart feels like it’s about to explode, I try to ignore the pain and just go to bed, I place my hand on my neck and felt two little holes in the side of my neck as I remember me walking home from the bar where I would go on occasion to attempt to drown my depression but normally to no success but as I was stumbling home I remember walking into an alleyway and I saw a little girl crying due to what I thought was the rain and as I got closer she asked me to go away and well me being me replied with a subtle sigh and said “Here” as I placed my umbrella over her while smiling, She groaned and tried to push me away but only fell into a puddle before I sighed louder and moved the umbrella over her again before she screamed and jumped onto me, I went to scream but before I could she drove two of her teeth into my neck and started extracting my blood as I started to feel faint before she jumped off me and ran away crying, I fall down on my knees and hold my neck tight before stumbling to my feet and slowly making my way home, I slam the door and walk up the stairs before falling on the bed as my body feels as if it’s energy is draining by the second, I cough a few times before I roll other and I slowly close my eyes and fall to sleep.

 The next morning I wake up at one-ish in the afternoon, I Turn back over and try to go to sleep Unable to do so I get up and go for a walk up town to get some much needed groceries.

“Arh it’s too hot today” I say as I step outside and shield my eyes from the rays of the burning sun.

As I start walking into the city I feel as if im getting followed, I decide to take some alleyways to avoid the sun as much as possible, after a while I turn around and nobody is there            

“Hmm I must be going crazy” I say scratching my head before shrugging.

As I turn back around there is a girl standing in front of me I fall back onto the ground, Her Long hair turns from a midnight black to a deep sea blue as it flows in the wind, her dark long sleeved jacket cuddles up to her skin and her skirt the just reveals her knees through a pair of black leggings slightly sways in the wind

“What the hell! Where’d you come from” I say still laying on my a*s.

“So you’re the one” she says in an exhausted tone.

“What do you mean?” I say confused.

“You’re coming with me” she says sighing

“Like hell” I say before jumping up and running the other way. Suddenly she appears in front of me

“Uh, uh” she says with a slight smirk

Unable to run away I agree before she grabs my hand and starts walking the way I was already walking, we walk for a bit before going into a house and down a few flight of stairs and into a large dining room, there I see a long table Every seat is taken by what seem to be Man and woman feasting on regular food but In all of their glass cups were a red like substance, As we reach the end of the table and there seems to be a man ripe in his age at the end

“Lord here he is” the girl says

“Ah thank you Mi” he says in a slight and subtle voice

“You there come closer” he says as he turns he head towards me.

I slowly and carefully approach the man, His long white brittle hair looked as if it was a wig and his old sculpted face as if in his eighties 

“So you’re the newbie welcome to the creed” he says as he pulls a smile

“Wait im not the newbie I don’t even know why im here” I say confused

Suddenly a man around my age runs up to the man He whispers in the man’s ear

“Sorry something’s come up Mi can you please show him the ropes and stays with him till he get the hang of it” he says slowly standing up

“Yes my lord” the girl so called Mi bowed before the rest of the people stood to their feet and then bowed as if this man was god himself.

She turns to me and says “come on let’s go” before grabbing hold of my hand again and walking back to the flight of stairs, as we leave the building she asks me where I live

“I live a bit faraway, where do you live?” I ask then reply

“Nowhere” she says shrugging

As we start walking she started looking a bit over heated

“Are you ok” I ask slowing down

“Yeah I just don’t take heat that well” she says as she exhales louder and louder

“Here sit in the shade for a bit” I say while pointing over at a tree in the park

“Are you ok with that?” she says softly.

“Yeah of course I am” I say smiling.

We both walk over and sit down with our back to the tree trunk

I start falling asleep as I rest there softly humming Unravel.

I wake up a bit later by a nightmare

I yawn before asking “how long was I asleep for”

I turn to face Mi and she’s sitting there sleeping

“Ah umm” I say not knowing what to do.

I look at the time as I yawn again.

“Its 7:19 crap I gotta get back home” I say in a shock

I start nudging Mi softly.

“Hmm yeah” she says yawning

“I gotta go the times 7:19”

“Oh no we gotta go” she says in a greater shock then me

She jumps up grabs my hand and starts running

“Where do you live?” she says as if she was afraid

I direct her to where I live

We reach my front door

“Ah thanks for that” I say puffing loudly

“Im sorry to ask you this but May I please stay over for a while” she says slight making contact with her two pointer fingers.

Unable to speak I start nodding my head as we walk into my house her eyes light up

“Wow you have a nice house” she says looking around in excitement.

“Thanks”

“Do you have a house mate or a girlfriend?”

“Nah I live alone I have two friends that live down the street but that’s about it”

“Anyway are you hungry or thirsty”

“Im quite hungry”

I walk to the kitchen

“There are a few things I can cook what you feel like”

“Do you have any meat?”

“I have some chicken I’ll make you a chicken sandwich if you want”

Mi nods her head, after she finished eating we walk into the bedroom

“Um may I please have a shower?”

“Yeah if you want”

She walks into the bathroom

I make my bed and clean my house a bit

As I sit down on the couch Mi sits next to me

“So how does it feel being one of us?”

“What do you mean one of us?”

“Wait you don’t know well great most people run after they find out” she says before letting out a huge sight before continuing to say “You’re a vampire”

As Mi expected me to run I just laughed

“What you don’t believe me”

“Oh no I do I’ve just always wanted to be a vampire well second to a Ghoul”

“Wait really”

Mi asked looking confused

“Yep I’ve always watched vampire anime’s and read books about vampires so do I get any powers”

“Well not till later”

“Awesome”

As I look at the time I notice that it’s 9:30

“Well Im going to bed Mi you get my bed I’ll sleep out there on the couch”

“Are you sure”

“Yeah of course”

“Thank you umm wait I don’t even know your name”

“Oh sorry my name is Jack”

As Mi walks up the stairs to my bedroom I grab a blanket and pillow and lay on my couch

I lay there and just think about things

I slowly drift off to sleep

When I wake up I walk up stairs to my bed room

I open the door and Mi is still sleeping on my bed

I turn around and close the door

I walk into the kitchen and start making pancakes

“Pancakes pancake pancakes”

I hear Mi wake up

I walk to the bottom of the stairs

As Mi starts walking down the stairs she tripped and started falling

I quickly react and run up a few stairs and catched her

But in doing that I fell backwards I land on the first step and my head hits the ground of the first floor

“Arh” I groan in slight pain

“Jack!” she replied with a concerned face

She hopes off me and helps me up

“Jack are you okay”

“Yeah I think I just need to sit down for a bit” I say slightly smiling

She helps me over to the couch

As we both sit down I smell the pancakes burning

“Arh I can’t cook”

“I can” Mi says happily

I giggle a tiny bit and say “Well that makes one of us”

A few hours later I was playing my ps5 and I hear a few knocks on the door

I walk over to the door and open it

“Amber”

“Hey” she says smiling

I start freaking out

“Umm come in”

As she entered the house I start running around trying to find Mi

“Mi where are you Mi-Mi”

Then amber appears behind me

“Who’s Mi?”

“Mi, mi my cat yeah that’s it my cat”

Then Amber smirks

I proceed up stairs still in search for Mi

“Where the hell are you?” I say darting my sight around in search for her

I find her sleeping on my bed

I hear Amber slowly making her way up the steps

As they enter my room they see Mi in my bed

“Jack what the” amber says looking surprised

“Trust me it’s not at all what you think”

“Ha so your still single”

“Yeah so what talking of which how your quest for a boyfriend going is” I say while smirking

“Shut up jack”

 

“Anyway if you want you can come over for a barbeque next Saturday and you can bring little miss sleepy anyway I’ve gotta go to work I just came over to see if you’re okay…….And to steal some Butter” She says smiling while shaking a container of butter around.

 I walk amber to the door

“See you later”

I close the door and turns around and Mi is right in front of me”

“What the hell Mi do you want to give me a heart attack?”

“You heart doesn’t work anymore”

“Still”

“Anyway who was she?”

“Just a friend she lives just down the road”

She nods her head “okay”

“You hungry”

“Yes im always hungry when I wake up” Mi says in a soft and sleepy tune

I walk over and see the burnt pancakes in the pan

“Let’s just have pizza”

“Sure”

CHAPTER TWO:                THE BET

 

After we ate the pizza we sat and watched T.V for a few hours before we went to bed

“Good night Mi” I said as I stretched out on the couch 

“Good night Jack” She said as she slowly stumbled up the stairs

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was dying

I took a few heavy breaths got off the couch and walked to the bathroom

“Arh I feel like crap”

I lose my balance and fall backwards but Mi catches me

“Arh what the hell Mi you scared the hell out of me”

“Sorry I heard you walking up the stairs and when you went into the bathroom I came in to see if you were okay”

“I am don’t worry” I say staggering back to my feet

“Are you sure, the process of becoming a vampire is different for everybody”

I start coughing up blood

“Jack”

I fall over and knock my head on the counter knocking myself out

I wake up in my bed while it’s still dark

“Arh my head”

I turn over and to my extreme surprise Mi is laying there next to me

“What the”

She grabs my arm

“Arh Mi what are you doing

“Whenever I feel sad I hug my pillow but I like cuddling you more”

“Bu-“

“Shh im sleeping” she says cutting me off

“Okay”

I slowly fall to sleep

I wake up and Mi was still lying there

I look at the time and it’s only 3 in the morning so I wiggle out of Mi’s grip

I then go down stairs start rummaging through my fridge

I find my half eaten chicken sandwich from a few days ago

“Mmm so im a vampire hmmm”

The next day

“Jack” Mi says rubbing her eyes and smiling

“Yeah what is it Mi”

“I think it’s time I start training you so I need to ask you do you accept”

“Yes”

“This means that you will train every day for two and a half years”

“Two and a half years” I say somewhat confused

Suddenly Mi bites her hand and faces it towards me”         

“Well come on hurry up bite your hand”

I do the same Then Mi grabs my hand

“The bond between master and student is complete”

As soon as Mi said that my shoulder started burning I lifted up my sleeve and on my shoulder there was a tattoo of a Wolf and a Crow

 “What the hell is this?”

“This is my blood contact see this is me” Mi says as she points to the Wolf

“And this is you” She says as she points to the Crow

“Okay now we can start so drop and give me 50 push ups”

“HELL NO!”

A couple of months and a few weeks pasted and just like I said I trained every day with Mi but today Mi had something different in mind

“Hey jack today we won’t be training”

“Ya-“

“Because we have a mission”

“Dam it”

“The lord has sent us on a mission”

We waited till night to do the mission mostly just sleeping or being lazy

“Now jack this is just a recon mission understand”

“I understand”

We left my house and made our way to a plaza quite a while away.

As we got there Mi reminded me not to try to fight

“So who are we spying on?”

“Not who what, we are watching a pack of werewolves “

“Why” I ask

“To see what they do”

“Wow how boring” I say sarcastically

“Oh shut up it’s what the lord told us to do so we do it no buts”

We sat there for at least 2 hours watching the Werewolves from a little pillar and a little overhang 

“Arh im staving”

I look over at Mi and she’s just sitting there watching the Werewolves Suddenly she coughed, the werewolves instantly looked up spotting us before she slowly leans over the edge and slipped off the edge.

“Mi watch out” I yell while jumping at her I manage to grab here and we fall landing on the plaza floor

“Hey looks like we got some new chew toys”

The werewolves start surrounding us

“Jack get back I’ll will handle this” she says slowly staggering to her feet

“No I can fight” I say standing up beside her

One of the werewolves jumped at mi but she without moving pierced straight through its chest so they all start running at us

Mi just started throwing them around they were made of air and I got a few down to the ground but one came out of nowhere and leaped at me

“Jack “MI screamed before jumping in front of me. As she got clawed in the gut she looked at me and said

“One to nothing” before getting thrown into a wall

“Mi!!” I scream before looking at the werewolf. I grabbed its arm and started swinging it around and around before letting it go into a pack of werewolves they all stood up and ran away.

I ran up to Mi, she was standing up one arm on the wall and her other on the massive cut on her gut

 As I walk over to her she falls over.

I run up to her and grab her before she hits the ground

She was unconscious so I picked her up, put her on my back and started walking to my house

As we got around halfway I noticed my back was a bit wet, I slip my hand in-between my back and her torso and noticed that she is bleeding a lot so I start to walk faster and faster to the point of running.

She wasn’t heavy and the adrenaline helped my run as well but besides that when we got there I laid her down on my couch and lift up her shirt, luckily I did first aid years 11 and 12.

The cuts weren’t that deep but still deep enough to do some damage.

I bandage it up and carry her up to my bed and lay her down.

I sit down on my couch, look at my hand and my hand is blood as I get up to wash them but before that I punch a wall putting a hole in it.

I wash my hands and walk up to my room before I sit beside the bed and slowly fell asleep.

CHAPTER THREE:                       THE TRUTH

 

The next morning I wake up and make breakfast for Mi and I, I make pancakes making sure not to burn them this time, I walk up to my bedroom to find Mi still sleeping I sit down and check on her and she’s stop bleeding thank god but she still seems sick and I’m starting to get worried.

“Hey wake up Mi”

She wakes up slowly

“Here I made you some pancakes”

“Th-thanks”*cough*.

After she eats she goes back to sleep and I clean the house a bit.

I look back at my hand and the blood is still there like it has stained into my hand.

I get shocked at first but I was pretty desensitised to blood and gore and death as a teen due to the fact that I was extremely depressed, I still am but I’ve just learned to deal with it

I hear Mi walking down the stairs, I meet her at the bottom.

“I’m sorry” she says looking down

“For What” I say slightly smiling

“For invading your life and ruining it”

“Mi…….You haven’t”

“But I have, your life was good until you met me”

“No it hasn’t” I say while looking down

“But you have an amazing house”

“But what’s the point of an amazing house if you don’t have anyone to share it with”

“Yeah bu-“

“But nothing Mi I’ve always been alone”

“What about Amber and”

“What about her I barely ever see her and my other friend Andrew is too busy with his girlfriend Holly It’s like I was forgotten, erased from people’s life”

“What about your childhood”

“What my mother and father fighting all the time and my brother and sister hating me”

“Well what are they like now”

“Dead…… they died in a car crash 3 years ago………After that I become Anti-social I lost most of my friends and I gave up on everything Do you know what it’s like to be alone your have the creed”

“But so do you”

 “No I’m a stranger an outsider and that’s how they see me that’s how everyone sees me” I say as my tone gets louder and louder before I just walked out the door and started walking I didn’t know where and I didn’t care.

I get back around 3 in the morning. As I enter the door I see Mi asleep on the couch and being the person I am I go up to my bed and grab a blanket, as I go to lay it on Mi, I see a massive scar starting at the back of the shoulder the end at the bottom of her tail bone.

I sit on the coffee table and think to myself, “I don’t even really know Mi even though she’s lived at my house for what like 5 months.

I get up and start walking up the stairs and go to bed.

The next day we had to head to the creed

“Arh it’s too hot tonight”

“Stop complaining Jack we’re almost there”

As we arrived I noticed that it wasn’t the creed

“Arh Mi where are we”

“Well you’ve been a vampire for around 5 months so by now you mana would have kicked in so you should be able to use your ability.

“Ability”

“Yeah all vampires get a power or ability but im pretty sure yours is speed”

Then Mi walks me up to a line drawn on the ground

“Ok Jack you start her and when you hear the gun try to get to the other side”

“Got it”

3…2…1...*Gun fire*

I run as fast as I could to the end I had to dodge swinging things, jump over pits and all that stuff

But I finally made it to the end

“So how’d I do “

“Wow that only took you 25 seconds”

“Yeah so”

“It’s a minute and thirty second course”

I look around a see some dummies around and me being me I walked up to one

“So what this is one o-ah-ah” I say before sneezing and as I do the ground slightly shakes

“What the…. Jack scream”

“Why”

“Just do it”

“Fine” I sigh before Screaming

The ground starts shaking even more

“You have two powers”

“Apparently”

“We’ve got to report it”

  CHAPTER FOUR:         THE INVASION

 

As we got to the creed everyone was running around like headless chickens

“MI, Jack thank god your back we’ve been told the werewolves are mounting an attack to kill our lord”

“Quickly Jack” Mi says while running toward the lords chamber

“Lord”

“Yes Mi what is it”

“I’ve found out that Jack has two ability’s”

“Hmm strange”

Suddenly someone busts into the room

“Lord there here”

“Everyone get ready”

As everyone secures the base Mi and I protect the lord with four other people

“HERE THEY COME” someone yells before the door got smashed open

“THERE INSIDE”

We heard the other vampires battle the pack of werewolves.

The fight went for about twenty minutes before they reached the lords chamber

“Jack get ready” mi said

As they smashed down the door Mi counted only ten

“Come on we can take them”

The four people in front of us ran towards them and took down 6

But got overwhelmed in the end only leaving: The lord, Mi, a vampire that survived and I

But another 10 or so joined

“Jack scream”

“What!”

“Just do it”

“Fine*Screams”

The building starts to shake and on top of that because werewolves are some dog there sense of sound is tripled ours so it paralysed them.

“Quickly this way” the lord says while pointing to a tunnel

We start running with a pack of werewolves following us

“Jack scream again”

“Got it*Screams louder*

It starts collapsing the tunnel

“Come on were almost there”

As we reach the end of the tunnel we arrive in a forest in the middle of nowhere

“Sweet we made it” I say but immediately after saying that mi gets hit into a tree

“No you didn’t” a werewolf says I try to run to Mi but I get smashed into a tree

“Now will be taking the old man and the girl”

“Like hell” I say before getting picked up

“Try to survive this” the werewolf says before throwing me toward a massive metal pole

I get impaled through the chest and as I slowly lose consciousness I see one werewolf grabbing the lord and another grabbing Mi

“JACK!!!!!” She screams but after that I lost consciousness.

“So in the end this is how I die kind of ironic I guess cause after all my loneliness I finally met I girl and I started getting along with her hmm I think I even started liking her and in the end I couldn’t even save her well that’s all gone now”.

 

 

Chapter Five:                             The Change           

 

I slowly open my eyes to a ceiling I’ve never seen before “Wait where am I” I quietly mumble.

I lay there for a bit before a woman walks into the room holding a glass bottle.

 

“So you finally wake up and here I thought you died” she chuckles

“Where the hell am I” I say

“You are in my bed, in my room, in my house”

A bit of silence struck the room before I say “Thanks for saving me”

She hits me on the head and says “That’s better” while grinning

“So where are we” I ask while rubbing my head

“Under earth” the woman says happily  

“Under……Earth as in under the earth” I say confused

“Yep we are under the earth think of it like this the earth is like an egg with the surface of earth being the surface of said egg now imagine inside the egg there is a second egg well we are on the surface of the  second egg” she says happily

After saying it over in my head a few times I finally got it

“Arh I see…..I think”

After saying that a sudden pulse goes through my body and my right eye started to feel like it was burning, I cover it with my hands and scream before the woman jumps and runs over to me

“What what’s wrong” she said in shock before I collapse and become unconscious

A few hours later I awake again and feel my eyelid to no pain, it at first confuses me then I just shrug it off and smile “I’m just glad I’m alive”

I stand on my feet and slowly walk to the door before opening it to a corridor, I wonder to the right and after a few seconds of walking me slowly open the door and see the woman wearing an apron, Bra and some underwear and that is it.
I look away quickly and say “S-Sorry”.

She giggled slightly and run up before hugging me “Yay you’re okay”

I turn to face her and only just realise she had long pointy ears, “S-so what are you” I ask softly

She hugs tighter and says “I’m an Elf”.

My mind instantly switches to an Anime called the familiar of Zero and especially a Certain Elf.
I lean back and look at her and start laughing “Y-You know you remind me of someone”

She looks and me and slightly tilted her head “How so”

 

“Well you long blonde hair, Pointy ears and well……………..Your chest” I say stumbling

She laughed and said “Well at least now I know I’m good to look at” before grinning

She leans forward slightly and turned around before continuing to bake.

I smile before feeling a slight pain in my gut before I place my hand where the pain came from and as I lift my hand there was blood but not mine but Mi’s, I look down and hide my hand behind my back and frowning before I slowly stagger over to the girl

“D-Do you need any help” I ask looking at her and the mixing bowl she was stirring

“No, no it’s okay after all it’s a secret” she said grinning again as she looked at me

“Oh, Okay” I say smiling

She replied “Please make yourself at home, Go sit on the couch” she said as she pointed to the door “Just through there”

I nod and walk through the door and lay down on the couch before looking out the window and all I see is trees and more trees as if the house was in the middle of a forest, I wonder off in my mind for what only seemed like a few minutes but must have been an hour or two because the girl walked in with a cake and a smile on her face.

“Here you go” She said placing the cake on the table in front of me.

“No I can’t you took your time to bake this so you please have it” I say with a slight smile

“No here how about this” she says before cutting four slices off and placing two on two plates and handing one to me.

I nod slightly and eat one before saying “Wow this tastes amazing you are a really good cook”

A massive smiles appears on her face and she says “Wow really thanks”

A nod before a sudden shock moves throughout my body and I drop the plate while groaning in pain

She drops her plate and jumps closer to me while saying “What’s wrong” with an extremely concerned voice before I cough up some blood and lose conciseness falling in her lap.

 Chapter Six:             The New Found Bond

 

I slowly awake to the girl slowly stroking my head as I laid in her lap, I quickly sit up straight and say “Sorry”

She looks at me confused before smiling and saying “its okay you’re safe and not dying but please tell me what happened”

At first I hesitate before remembering that she told me that she was an elf without even thinking so I sighed and said “Well I can’t really sugar coat it so here goes Im…….a…………Vampire” I say expecting her too be frightened but as I look up she smiles and softy says “now I know how to help you”

I slightly move away and look out the window “So elves do exist that’s amazing” while smiling

She softly replies with “Yeah but there are extremely rare but not only that but from mimics to trolls, Lamias, Harpies and all the rest they all exist in  Under earth”

“Wow to think everything I’ve ever dreamed of was under my feet the whole time” I say in a happy tone.

“Really so you have always wanted to meet an Elf and all of that” she asks in a surprised voice

“Yeah I grew up alone really so I always use to read books and watch anime about fantasy and elves and all of that”

She jumped over and hugged me before saying “Well now you have”

I smile and hug back while saying “So do you live alone and why in the middle of a forest”

She hugged tighter and said “Well mostly due to the fact that first off im an elf and even if there are heaps of different races there is always a ridiculed one and that one is us elves and secondly cause I’m the only person that I know of that uses some modern tech from where you come from and I sometimes go up there hence how I found you” she says as her tone went from happy to somewhat upset.

I patted her head much like you would a cat softly and said “Well that’s just stupid, you are one of the kindest person I’ve ever met in my entire life” while smiling softly.

 She hugs me even tighter than before and said “Coming from you……Anyway I don’t even know your name”

I just remember we never shared our names and reply with “Oh yeah sorry I’m Jack”

 

She smiled and said “I’m Yuki”

 

 

Chapter Seven:                        The Start

 

Roughly a week later after Yuki and I got to know each other better she decided to go into town for some food and as she hopes out of the shower well more like steam room with only a towel tightly wrapped around her waist I ask if I could go into town with her, She hesitated at first before nodding her head.

I smile and accompany her out of the house and through the forest to some grass fields with farmers tending to the yellow tipped crops around us, Yuki hides her ears by tucking them into the broad brimmed hat like the one the farmers wore she wore and smiled at me before I said “Doesn’t that hurt”

She replied with “Yeah a bit but it’s better than people finding out I’m an elf”

I smile softly and say under my breath “Well I don’t mind” before a farmer walked past us with his cow and smiled at me before frowning as he noticed Yuki before tilting his head down and continuing to walk.

I felt disgusted at the thought that monsters discriminate Elves just cause of what pointy f*****g ears, I thought that maybe Under earth may have been better then then the surface but the people are just as stupid and retarded as the humans up there.

We approach the town well it was pretty huge actually, No skyscrapers but still it must have everything here, I smile and we enter the gates that were guarded by a squadron of Knights or well at least humanoid figures in armour.

As we get more into the town Yuki guides me through as many alleyways as possible to attempt to avoid people, I thought to myself “Why is she so afraid of people just cause they call her names, I was picked on a lot as a kid and in retrospect I did walk in alleyways a lot but still she shouldn’t be that afraid before I group of humans and an orc stumble into the alleyway and as they approach us they start to whisper to each other but we just ignore them and continue to walk past them and to the shop that Yuki entered in search for groceries.

Roughly and hour or two later we walk out and back towards the alley with  our arms full of backs made from strengthened wheat like the stuff the famers were tending to earlier.

As we enter the alleyway I notice the same males from earlier, the three humans and the orc.

They start whispering again as we come into they’re sight, Yuki then moves slightly closer to me, I move my head and whisper to her “Hey do you know these people”.

She slightly shook her head as the stood up from the crates they were resting on and walked past us before the orc pushed me into the wall besides us and two of the humans pin Yuki against me before the third human male said “Well, well look here a female elf wonder how much I’ll get for you” he said as she softly approached her grinning like a psycho as the orc pinned me tighter against the brick like wall as I attempt to wiggle out of his grip.

The third male softly caresses Yuki’s Cheek before she slaps it away wiggling one of her arm out of other males grip before he In a rage slaps her back so hard tears start to slow down her cheek, I Yell at him to stop before he walks other to me and says “And what are you going to do about it” before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a little but very sharp blade and plunging it into my gut just under my left ribcage, I groan at the pain before my eyes start to turn red and the orc feels my grip getting tighter around his arms.

The third male backs away and says “Oh look mister badass over here” while laughing and turning to the other males still holding Yuki before he looks back at me and stabs me a second time before looking back and saying “Don’t you just hate weak people” before the orc the was holding my goes flying into the wall opposite where I was getting held.

He instantly turns to face me as I say in a darker more emotionless voice “Weak huh” before punching him to the ground and then I look at the two man still standing and the let go of Yuki and run before the man gets back up and punches me in the gut driving the blade deeper as blood starts to flow out he goes to punch me a second time but without even thinking I grab his hand and slowly apply more force till I hear the bones start to crack but I don’t stop till he falls to his knees screaming and as I let go Yuki grabs my closest hand and starts to run in the general direction of the forest as she hears the blood from my gut drip on the floor and I slowly come back to my senses.

She runs through the forest he hat flying off as we swiftly entered the forest breathing as if either frightened or in a rush, We near the house as I collapse behind her still conscious as I hit the ground before she with all of her strength drags my into the house to the kitchen floor before dropping me and running to the hallway before coming back a few moments later with a modern Medic-kit, She sits me up as a puddle of blood starts form from the hole just under my rib cage.

She lifts my shirt and applies the gauze quickly, as the blood slows to a stop she says under her breath “Stupid, stupid why am I so stupid” before she wraps a bandage tightly around my torso before slowly struggling to lift me onto the couch before one of my eyes slowly turns back to blue but the other stays red.

At first she stays away afraid but soon sits beside me and says “I-I’m sorry” looking down.

I at first cough before saying “No it’s not your fault” while slightly shivering due to the lack of blood.

She after noticing me shiver wraps her arm around me and sighs “Well at least you saved me’ she says as she rested her head on my shoulder.

I look at my hand and said “I don’t know what came over me I just lost control of myself”.

She grabs hold of my hand and says “Well your safe now and that’s all that matters” while looking directly in my eyes.

I shake my head and say “If I was stronger I could have saved you sooner” I say slightly clenching my other fist before shivering more violently.

She feels me shivering violently and jumps up and runs out the back door before walking back in a few moments later with a pile of wood before placing it in the fire place just in front of the couch and darting around looking around for a match but being unable to find one she points her pointer finger to the roof and after a few seconds her fingertip ignites before she points It towards the wood and that too ignites before she sits back down next to me and throws a blanket over both of us.

“S-So you know magic” I ask looking at her finger then to her face.

“Well only a little bit… I can teach you if you want” she says smiling as I look at her.

“Uh yeah I-I would love that” I say slightly smiling as I look at my hands “So you can teach other people magic” I say sounding surprised.

“Yeah my mother taught me how to use that little fore trick and some water tricks” she says as her voice dips down sounding sadder.

I instantly feel as if I over stepped a boundary as her voice dips, I pat her head softly as the blanket slightly slipped off my shoulders, I say “Well it is amazing I only know how to do one thing”.

“Oh wow what is that” she says in excitement.

I smile and pat her head again and say “Sorry I can’t show you but when I have to use it”.

She frowns almost like a cat before saying “Fine” before I softly start stroking the tip of her head as she says “P-Please don’t, Stop”, I instantly stop and say “Sorry” before she grabbed my hand and placed it back on her head “I said don’t stop” she says in a playful tone of voice.

I softly giggle as I continue to stroke her head and before long I feel to objects pushing my hand up, I lift my hand and two cat-like ears the same colour as her hair prick up from her head, I look at her then she says “Dam it well my father was an elf but my mother well she was and Kitsune” she says as she sighs, I look at her and say “Wait A Kitsune like with 9 tails and all that, I say before she nods before saying “But unlike the ones in the book we are not loved nor worshipped we are hated more than elves you see Kitsune are timid most times but like well a vampire after a while they lose control of themselves and will normally attack the closest living thing” she stands up and turns to face me as her shirt slowly lifts at the back before a creamy yellow much like her hair but lighter then another the same colour appears but after that she groans in slight pain before softly smiling “S-Sorry I can only make two appear”.

“No, no it’s okay please don’t strain yourself” I say slightly concerned.

She slowly started to wiggle as if her they became jelly before she starts to fall forward, I jump up and catch her as my legs became jelly and I fell backwards landing on my a*s as my back scrapes against the couch and then roughly hit my head on the wooden frame but not even caring of my head hurting I look at her and say “Are you okay” smiling slightly hiding the pain in my neck.

She jumps up and looks at me before saying in an extremely worried tone of voice and look on her face “Am I okay what about you, you hit your head”

“I’m okay don’t worry as long as you’re safe” I say smiling even more.

She stood on her feet and looked away before saying “I-I’m going to bed goodnight” before walking off towards her bedroom almost as if in a rush.

I was confused but then just remember that well I was kind of use to woman just running away from me as if I was a monster well now I am one.

I slowly stagger to my knees and walk to my room, As I enter I lay on my wooden framed bed and look up at the skylight directly above my head as the rain loudly hit the glass and poured off to the gutter before slowly nodding off to sleep.

I slowly open my eyes to the skylight red, I jump up and smell burning before I rush to the door and open it, I run to Yuki’s door and bust it open to no one but I hear a scream outside, I rush out towards the scream and as I slam my body through the door and see Yuki getting held by her head by a hooded man, He just laughs as I turn my head I see Mi’s lifeless body on the floor in a massive puddle of blood and my face fills with shock and horror as I she out of the corner of my eyes I shiny object get pulled out of the hooded man’s pocket, I quickly dart my head back towards him as he pulls Yuki’s hair back and puts a blade to her neck laughing before he ripped the blade towards his chest as Yuki’s eyes rolls to the back of her head as the blood from her neck started gushing out before it sprayed into my eyes.

Chapter Eight:                                 The Will

 

My eyes open and I jump up screaming as the sweat drips from my forehead and all over my body before Yuki barges into my room before running over to me and kneeling down looking me in the eyes before asking “What happened, What’s wrong” before I hug her tightly and exhaling deeply as the sweat still dripping from my forehead “Y-Your safe” I say stumbling as I breath heavily.

She realising I had a nightmare hugged me back tightly and said “As long as I’m with you I’ll be safe” smiling as she nuzzled her face into my chest before she looked up at my pillow and saw it covered in blood then looked at my neck and saw a cut with dried blood around it before bitting my shoulder.

“Ow” I say as she does before looking at her before she looks at me dead in the eyes before saying “Stupid don’t hide your cuts and bruises I can heal you and help you don’t suffer alone okay”.

I look at her then smile “Yeah, yeah I won’t promise” before yawning.

She laid me down then laid down next to me “You can’t sleep alone in case you have another nightmare” before throwing the blanket over both of us then cuddling up to my arm almost like Mi did, I soon slip off to sleep.

The next morning I slowly open my eyes as I see a strand of Yuki’s hair resting over my chest, she yawned as she opened her eye before jumping up “S-Sorry I wasn’t meant to fall asleep on you” she said looking down as her hair covered her face, I giggle and say “No, No it’ okay” before softly smiling, She jumped up and walk calmly to the door “I-I’m going to go make breakfast” she says before leaving the room as sit up and jump out of bed.

I casually walk to the shower before taking one, Getting dressed then I walked out and sat on the couch as Yuki came and handed me a plate of bacon and eggs, I happily grab the plate as she sat beside me, “hey umm Jack” she says nervously, “Yeah what is it Yuki” I say placing the half eaten plate on the coffee table in front of us before turning to face her, “Umm D-Do you have any friends” she asked quietly as if trying to make sure I didn’t hear her, I smile gently before poking her on the forehead softly before saying “Of course after all you are one” before she smiling and jumps on me hugging me tightly to the point in which I am almost unable to breath, “Yay I’m so happy I’m your friend” she says happily before her grip slightly loosens before her head lands on my shoulder,”Y- yuki” I say softly before realising she was asleep, I don’t move feeling at guilt because of me she didn’t sleep last night at all, I softly hit my head “Stupid god I’m so stupid I can’t get attached to someone I ……Don’t want to get feelings for her I’ll only end up getting hurt like always” I say softly as I continue to hit my head before I quickly stop realising that I was moving so much, She coughs a bit but still remains asleep so I try to wiggle out of her grip but she grabs me tighter and tighter almost as if she wanted me to stay.

I lay there trying to be as decent as possible while she laid on my chest in a very deep sleep

She mumbled in her sleep at first I couldn’t understand what but it became clearer “Plea…se don’t le….ave m….e”, I was shocked as a tear rolled down her face but then just thought to myself “No she doesn’t mean me” before wiggling out of her grip and standing up before placing a pillow under her head, a blanket over her and walking out the front door and throwing my hoodie over my head and walking deeper into the forest for maybe a few hours till my legs felt as if they were going to fall off , I rest against a tree and sigh “No one wants me remember” before lifting my head and closing my eyes “I’ll find a way back to the surface and save you Mi I promise” I say before slowly nodding off to sleep.

Chapter Nine:                          The Hostage     

 

I awake to the tree I fell asleep under but I was tied tightly to it, “I’m going to get raped” I say under my breath as I look around for the culprit before I feel something pierce my shoulder, I look and see a knife inserted into my shoulder as it started to bleed, The pain wasn’t that bad but I still screamed at the top of my lungs before four males appeared from behind a bunch of bushes one orc and three humans the same people from before, they started laughing like when they jumped Yuki and I before the orc pulls a sword out of a sheath behind his back, A long iron sword to be precise before they walk up to me and he swings the sword cutting my cheek deeply and the tip of my nose just it felt like a paper  cut  then again they hurt like a b***h, “No so strong now hey blood eyes” the main man who looked in charge and the other just followed like sheep, I hate sheep not the animal I mean people that follow a person like his god or something they really piss me off, The guy in charge kicked me with all of his strength in the gut as I coughed up a lot of blood before they all started to stab me, Kick me and just attack me for at least a few hours till I didn’t move and I was surrounded by a large puddle of blood, “And now we’re going to go kill your elf friend” the orc said as he leaned in and lifted my head to see my face all bloody and cut up as one of my eyes was closed as it bled before my eye turned red and I said “Kill me just don’t touch her” before coughing before the guy in charge said “Don’t beg after all if we kill her we will be billionaires maybe even more’ in a  laughing manor before I started to flex as the ropes started to rip before they all burst off me and I attacked the orc like a monster cutting him all over with my claws that grew in a matter of seconds, He swung but I dodged his arm by crouching before he kicked me back to the tree, I hit the back of my head and then screamed as my claws grew slightly longer and my eyes turn a deeper red, Fangs slowly emerged as I opened my mouth to scream again before I ran at the orc, He tried to swing at me again but he missed before I pulled my right arm back, As I reach him I thrust my arm forward, It pierces his chest and goes straight through it as I feel his beating heart in my hand, The three humans looked on in shock before I crush his heart and rip my hand back through him towards me, The orc drops to the ground as the humans backed away before turning to run but as the do I take a deep breath and scream so loud they hold their ears as they started to bleed due to the high frequency I was producing, I soon  run out of breath before they all turn around and pull knives out of their pockets before all throwing them at me all hitting me I the chest, I couch up more blood and fall to the ground as they run away, I slowly stagger to my feet and using the tree trunks I walk a few meters before completely collapsing face first on the ground, I managed to roll over but after that I was completely out of energy, I just laid there as another blood puddle formed around me wanting for the cold hand of death to grab me before I heard footsteps coming towards me from off in the distance I thought it was the guys just coming to finish me off, I close my eyes and just give up waiting to die before I slowly lost conciseness .

“JACK!!!” I hear off in the distance as my mind reverts back to MI and the last words she screamed them very words before the footsteps got closer and my name was yelled out again before a loud gasp exited from the persons mouth before they ran over to my lifeless body, They kneeled in the blood beside me and lifted my chest and head, I open one of my eyes and realise it was Yuki tears pouring from her mouth, I push her away and fall back to the ground, “S..Stay away F...From me I’m a m…monster” I say as I stagger, She slaps me before saying “I don’t care what you are your all I have and I’m not being alone again” in a forceful but extremely upset voice before I look away “B-But I don’t want to hurt you” I say looking at the body of the orc before she slowly looks up and sees the body before she falls back on her a*s “Y-You did that” she said frightened  before I softly nod “J-Just leave me to die you will be safe” I say as I look up at the sky “NO” she screamed as she slapped me again “You won’t hurt me so stop acting so cold and emotionless that wall you have built your entire life to keep people out why, why have you done that” she says still crying as she looks at me the tears like a waterfall dripping off her face onto my check.

‘Because…….I don’t want to get hurt anymore”
