first day

first day

A Poem by Dylan
"

a remembrance of an electric meeting with a new co-worker who hired in at the same time as myself.

"

ruby lips

sparkling eyes

curly cropped hair

and finger tips

that touched across the desk

that first day

i saw you here.

you were such a dear,

a treat of smiles

with razzle dazzle

and fiery

feminine spunk,

that cooed

a kind care

and demure radiance.

such was your magic

when we met

when we touched

or caught

each other's eye.

thus

i remember you so,

my beautiful friend,

and i treasure you always

within heart and mind.
