little wheels

little wheels

A Poem by Dylan
"

first roller skate date.

"

four, four

eight tiny wheels,

spinning, spinning

with everyone grinning.

round, round

circling the ground,

this is just great

why no, i can't skate.

rock roll

throbbing us all,

went like a whiz

slid into a skid!

blurred, whirred

slurred streaks of light,

"good grief" i call,

"lord, here comes the wall!"

smashed, crashed

down on my a*s,

with a roar and a cheer

i rise from my rear.

spin, spin

eight little wheels,

gliding, gliding

and there you are smiling!
