Destine

Destine

A Poem by Zeo Writer

The universe is calling
The phone is ringing
There is no answer,
On the other-side.
For our world has ended,
Like the way it started,
In big explosion,
Destine, we think, not to return again.

But if we're wrong and it does,
I'll bet we'll return too,
Repeating history and science,
Procreating until there was you,
For those days that were love
So, unconditionally,
Brought hope in our hearts,
Thought we'd never be run-through.

We hold hands at ground zero,
Joined in a circle,
The light is blinding,
Us from future woes,
For this end were choosing,
Is never a repeating,
And it may just be,
A start at a new beginning.
