ONE

The Goddess within me

I am one woman.

An angel sent from Hell

not to be controlled

by time or space

or the letters of words

or the tattoo of twisted emotions

spray painted on the walls of my heart.

But a powerful Goddess

beholding the secrets of solitude

and the magic of the one.

It brings an incredible beauty,

a hidden strength

and the ability to survive the

radical paradoxes of the world

in which we live in.

Most people can't handle

the power that being alone brings,

but I clutch it to my chest

like an unbreakable locket,

and breathe in deeply as

my lungs fill with all the 

possibilities that my mind

whispers to me.

I am too much for some,

not enough for others,

but I close my eyes and smile,

knowing that I am

the woman 

that they call

THE ONE
