Silent Symphony

Silent Symphony

A Poem by Drinnok
"

Dark Symphonic Revelry

"

I will stay silent, my prayers are mute
my thoughts stray to that dark place where hope is a memory
a cross that I bear, carved in it's grain the lonesome word despair
travel the cobblestone path, cross in tow this splintered cross I bear
I look for an end... the path goes on...
into a darkness so ominous, so cold
this lonliness I behold, embracing my fate
my heart is empty, I feel the emptiness
it creeps in, devours my soul
I fall furthr into this infernal hole
can't feel the light, losing what's right
losing this fight, forever pitch black night
let it end, let fall, let everything burn
so sick of it all, sick of me, sick of them
sick of my life, seeking an end
embrace the darkness as it surrounds
the cold caress from the darkened pit
let me go, let it be, so sick of this s**t
bearing my cross, my only company
the deep driving splinters make my sould bleed
listen to that lonely symphony
drifting away losing this duel
accepting my destiny, death is less cruel.
