Love still remains

I remember those days where my heart would beat for you when you came around the corner.
How could I forget those days when they still remain in my heart.
It was those days that made me realise how much I longed for you when you were gone.
Did you feel the same way too when you were away from me?
Does your love for me still remain?

I remember those days where we used to just talk.
A smile would always come across my face when I listened to you.
The purity of your heart made my heart feel like an innocent baby in her mother's arms.
Tears of joy would always circle around my eye when I thought of the things you were saying to me.
How could I forget them,
For they are still running through the memories I have of you.
Do you still remember that love that we used to have?

I remember the time you said I love you.
My lips couldn't wait to say I love you too.
Like an eighteen wheeler,
My heart crashed into yours with so much force that I couldn't help but fall for you over and over again.
I know there were days where we used to argue and have disagreements.
But it's those arguments and disagreements that showed how much we loved each other.
Do you still remember that day I told you I loved you?

I write this with no thoughts but of you.
I miss the love we used to have.
I miss the rush of blood I used to have when I couldn't see you.
I miss the fast beating of my heart when I saw you coming towards me.
Don't you miss that too?
