Joyful

Joyful

A Poem by Zee Langa
"

That moment when sadness is trying to give away with your happiness.

"
Listen to the beautiful melody my heart is making.
Listen to the rhythm of my heart as a smile flashes upon my face.
Listen to my fragile heart beating against my chest in happiness.
Can you hear my heartbeat?

Touch the surface of my soul and be happy.
Feel the warmth of my skin as I jump for joy this morning.
Look at my eyes as they glow with nothing but excitement.
My soul might be fragile but am a strong woman to crack.

See the look in my eyes as you start seeing the real me.
Hold my hand and don't be scared to comfort me.
Walk with me in this journey called the rollercoaster.
Be joyful this morning because if you look into the mirror,
You shall see every reason to be joyful,
Especially that smile on your face.

Well that's why it's called 'joyful'. I'm glad it reached someone.
