DROWN

DROWN

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

Peaceful bliss Sweet serenity

A drawn out breath

An ending plea

Tranquillity below the madness

The complete unflappability as waves crash upon me spinning in spirals dragging me down Dreaming of redemption

Paying my penance

For this life

Gasping away into annihilation

To be no more than a washed up

Forgotten memory

A corpse to rot in a forgotten past
