A World Falling Apart

Have you ever maid a plan, and one day something new comes along and changes everything, and you start changing that plan; and then you have a whole new plan based around this one thing.

You think it's perfect till something triggers something and slowly the foundations on which you built everything,and thought could withstand anything, slowly starts crumbling until the very foundations crack and fall to ash. What's left but to wonder what that pile of ash could have one day became, you may try to wish with all your might to be able to put it all back together but it will just keeps falling into speck’s of dust lost to skater and be forever mourned until one day nothing will remain and then what?

See we was the great Roman cities, or the great Pompi and then that volcano, that great war, began to burn it all away, and as some tried to cling to a belief that nothing could destroy the greatness they had built, while others attacked their greatness in fear they would lose everything, but now can you see? The ones who clung on to everything they never gave up, not til everything was gone. Those who destroyed their foundations in hope to save everything they was the ones who saw it to its doom. They didn't stop till they destroyed everything. Now do you see yet?

I held on to hope and you started the fire, and kept it going. You tried to hard in all the wrong places. You tried to trap me and I just missed the flood.

I was the great city of Pompi and you were the volcano that aimed to destroy me to keep me locked away.
