Pure Chemistry

Pure Chemistry

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

The feelings I get when his around
The pure chemistry
Science thinks it can explain
But everything is like a wirlpool
Have they ever felt love?
If they can they would know it can't be explained away
Or captured in a test tube
It's a feeling that doesn't go away
It doesn't start in the brain
It starts in your heart or the pit of your stomach
It's that ache you feel when your apart
Not a fear that you have to be with them
But an ache like thirst or hunger
And you feel whole again when you've got them with you
