Tears Falling

Tears Falling

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

Tears falling:

Tears crawling down her face

He sits there watching

The pain he causes

She could see

She chose to ignore

She wished what she thought

Was just to be a miss read thought

She sat there with tears crawling

Down her face one by one they fell

She knew she got played

What she hoped for was a lie

The things he promised

Tears fell

As did she

Tears falling but anger rising

Tears falling as she planed

A plan she had

But now she sees

The plan she had is worthless

The best plan is to get

Him where it hurts Tears fell

As she let him walk away

As she let him live for another day

As she decided for life to be his punishment.
