Jet Black Gaze

Jet Black Gaze

A Poem by Zee Norton-Williams

Jet black gaze:

I lost hope with every breath I took

And now I take one more look

Too forget the pain you made,

The things you took with that yet black look

With the jet black glaze You gave to me

Should have known from that stare

That you were just there I could read you like an open book,

until I took a second look

Your glance told me what I saw was wrong

Your glance told me there's more to write

But that book is empty to me

Not a glance not a look

That jet black stare

The one you used

Now gone from view. Not to be used.
